Oral and maxillofacial surgery required that Dr. Hochberg & Dr. Abel perform 5 to 6 additional years of hospital based surgical and anesthesia training after dental school. As oral and maxillofacial surgeons, both doctors can manage multiple problems relating to the mouth, teeth and facial regions. Dr. Hochberg & Dr. Abel provide a wide variety of oral and maxillofacial surgery procedures with expertise ranging from routine dental extractions and wisdom tooth removal to jaw reconstruction with bone grafts and dental implants. They can also diagnose and treat facial injuries, TMJ disorders and pathologic lesions of the oral cavity.

Dr. Hochberg & Dr. Abel's staff are trained in assisting with I.V. anesthetics within our state of the art office setting. Patients are continuously monitored during and after surgery until they are ready to be discharged.

Surgical Staff

The surgical staff at North Manchester Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery are experienced, surgical assistants who are also certified to assist in the administration of I.V. anesthetics with surgery. We also have ACLS certified employees to assist in surgery and anesthesia. Our staff are informed administrative personnel, well-versed in medical and dental insurance policies and are all CPR certified.
