Dr. Mark G. Hochberg
Dr. Hochberg was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Pittsburgh in 1985. He next completed his dental degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, where he graduated with honors in 1989 (Omicron Kappa Upsilon). He stayed in Pittsburgh for his intern year at Montefiore Hospital before going to Wilmington, DE for his Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery training. In June of 1994, he completed Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency at the Medical Center of Delaware.
Dr. Hochberg then returned to western Pennsylvania where he entered private practice in July of 1994. After one year, he moved to central New Hampshire, where he has lived and worked ever since. In January of 2000, Dr. Hochberg opened his own practice at 25 Bay Street, in the north end of Manchester. In January of 2005, he moved his office across the street to its current location, 27 Sagamore Street.
Dr. Hochberg is Board Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery. He subsequently has earned Fellowship status from the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology, and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.
Dr. Hochberg provides a wide range of oral surgery services in his office, at Catholic Medical Center, and at the Bedford Ambulatory Surgery Center. In particular, he enjoys performing reconstructive procedures such as bone grafts and dental implants. He is actively involved in many activities including being a member of the Manchester Monarchs minor league hockey medical staff, a New Hampshire Office Anesthesia Evaluator, and a CPR instructor. He is a member of the American Dental Association, the American Association of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons, and their respective state and local component societies. He also belongs to the American Dental Society of Anesthesiologists, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Academy of Osseointegration.
Outside of work, Dr. Hochberg enjoys many activities, such as running, skiing, hiking and backpacking, with his wife Lisa and their four children: Sean, Bryan, Katy and Erin.
